Steam destiny 25/26/2023 ![]() ![]() You should now be asked to log into your Steam account in another new pop-up window, which will, again, require authentication even if you’re already logged into the Steam client on your PC. Once you’re back on the PC Move portal, click the Get Started button one more time. There should still be a red banner at the top of the page warning of the switch to Steam click on this to return to the PC Move portal. You will then be redirected to a site showing which external accounts are linked to your profile. Make sure to have your authenticator handy! A new window will open and ask for your credentials, even if you’re already logged into the client on your PC. Since we’re just moving from to Steam, don’t worry about the Xbox Live or PlayStation Network options - these options are for people transferring save data from the console versions of Destiny 2. The site will then ask you to log in with your Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, or account. Next, click all up on that “Get Started” button. The process only takes a couple of minutes, and once you’re done you can close the window and click on the link from earlier to get back to the PC Move portal. If you don’t have a account, you’ll need to create one. If you’ve already got a account, make sure you’re logged in, then skip to the next paragraph. There’s no reason to not go ahead and link your accounts together, and even if you don’t plan on buying Shadowkeep, you still have to move to Steam to keep playing the base game. ![]() This is all preemptive, mind you - all of your characters will stay exactly where they are until October 1. The game is leaving Acti/Blizz’s launcher for Steam, and in order to help the millions of Guardians out there beat the rush, Bungie has activated the transfer system weeks ahead of launch. Bungie’s divorce from Activision Blizzard finalizes when Destiny 2‘s next big expansion, Shadowkeep, launches on October 1. ![]()
